Santorin Blue Audi S4 Turbo Replacement by At Speed
One of At Speed's current projects is a turbo replacement on a 2001 Audi S4. This beautiful B5 S4 has developed an oil leak in its left turbo. The B5 S4 comes equipped with a bi-turbo 2.7 liter V6. Replacing a faulty turbo in these vehicles is quite a complex project which requires the removal of the entire engine. Because of all the work involved our client has opted to replace both turbos and the rear crankshaft seal while we have the engine and transmission removed.
This customer car was picked up by At Speed in our completely enclosed trailer from downtown Washington D.C. and brought to our shop here in Hanover, Maryland (MD). Once unloaded from the trailer the work begins. In addition to replacing the stock Audi K03 turbos, At Speed will also be installing upgraded oil supply and return lines to each of the turbos. Proper oil supply and flow is essential for keeping turbos healthy and running strong for long periods of time. Once this work is done this Santorin Blue S4 should be ready to go for many many miles ahead. Removing the engine is tough work. Mike, the technician on this project takes time and special care to label all components being removed and unplugged during the removal process.

After much work, the engine has finally been removed.
