Porsche GT3 Roll Cage Fabrication

This client finally pulled to trigger and decided to dedicate his 996 Porsche GT3 to the track.  At Speed Motorsports will be fabricating and installing a full roll cage to ensure the driver's safety during all track events.  This cage will meet all PCA (Porsche Club of America) and NASA requirements.

The GT3 Before its Operation

All necessary interior items have been removed...

The roll cage almost completely fabricated and ready for paint.

The roll cage is fabricated and painted.

Removing door frames and window components for weight reduction and additional clearance.

Using a plasma cutter for the rough cut-out.

The cage fabrication is coming to an end.  At Speed is on it's final day with this vehicle, installing fully adjustable Moton struts, a battery kill switch kit, door net and full race alignment...

Fire system installed.

New recaro race seat mounted and ready for the track!

The finished product, just before being loaded into the trailer and heading to VIR.
